Trainer's Comments: Most men who seek our training services want to build muscle and simultaneously burn fat. Alrick's case was a bit different. The guy was already unusually thick and muscular, even though he hadn't worked out much in the last few years. Thus, his training protocol emphasized higher rep training with shorter rests between sets, and more cardio work. At the end of 4 months, he dropped over 12 lbs. and still added 10 lbs. of muscle. His arm and leg measurements weren't much different (he had exhanged fat for muscle), but he lost through the middle where he needed to.
